Glamour and colour took centre stage at Sheraton Mirage on Monday 4th January 2010. After the excitement of Melbourne Spring Carnival I thought there was no way that everyone could rise to the occasion after such a huge event. Well Gold Coast ladies you are all gems. Not only were you dressed is some of the most stunning racewear, you outshone the models that were parading.
Not one person in the room looked anything short of fabulous. What is it about the Gold Coast that embraces racing and fashion so beautifully? I think that the lovely group of ladies that adore social events having a great reason to dress up is partly something to do with it and appreciating everyones style and tastes. Kady Brandon took out the best dressed award and Fleur Cowlishaw looked gorgeous. Equally as fabulous as her daughter was the lovely Dale Olsson of 'The Hat Box'. Pamela Larson was wearing an adorable lace cloche, (Neil Grigg told me you have to be exceptionally gorgeous to pull off a cloche and Pamela you did it!) Natalie Letford is always a stunner at every event. Effie and Julie are always my designer, couture favourites though.
