The Gold Coast is the place to be. No one does fashion like Gold Coast, bright, colourful and elegant. Ladies you never disappoint me. Really this Magic Millions week does rival Melbourne's Spring Carnival. Dare I say it being a Melburnian. I know I am going to be burnt at the stake when I get home. Ladies, you love the horses, fashion. Qld take centre stage and bask in it. I keep trying to get more Melburnian's to come and enjoy this fantastic week and now I have experienced 'The E Event' that is Magic Millions lets hope more die hard race goers come with plenty of $$$ for your state. Every lady at Hats and High Tea looked more than fabulous and rivals any luncheon for flair that I have seen in any other state. The only upset moment I had was that the lovely Natalie from 'The Farmer wants a Wife' had no hat! I was most disappointed. All us ladies live for the millinery and fabulous racewear. I am sure Tracy Mac would have been delighted to loan her one of her beautiful pieces. Natalie blamed the stylist, but I say 'SACK the stylist'. I think way too much emphasis is being put on celebrities to wear something that is not them, I think they should think for themselves and even if they make a faux pax, well that called being human. Even though I am a qualified stylist I strongly believe that there are a few rules, but allow people to look who they really are instead of these cloned celebrities looking the same. (Not meaning Natalie looks cloned, but many identities are looking increasingly similar.) Congratulations to Pamela Larsen who looked sensational and always has such beautiful energy picking up best millinery in her own creation. Lisa from Sydney, yes that gorgeous creature we all envy ( I mean that in the most complimentary way) looked stunning in red and orange, you were a vision and well deserved winner of best dressed. Sharon Lenton, loved catching up with you. I am joining the 'Sharon Lenton is FABULOUS! Fan club. x
